Xeretec has opened up on its growing partnership with IT lifecycle services outfit KOcycle after the duo teamed up on a London event.
Set high above London on the 32nd floor of the Gherkin at the HP Customer Welcome Centre,, Xeretec’s ‘IT Happily Ever After’ event showcased how end-of-life IT assets can be part of a smart, secure and sustainable IT strategy.
It attracted more than 200 attendees over three days at the end of April.
Xeretec’s digital workspace zone demonstrated how organisations can right-size their technology, optimise device fleets, and manage IT responsibly – helping to address the world’s fastest-growing waste stream: electronic waste.
The Wokingham-based managed IT services provider used the event to introduce KOcycle’s certified IT asset disposition services as part of a broader IT strategy. The duo have partnered together over the past 18 months.
Attendees were taken through the KOcycle ITAD journey – from secure collection and data wiping to responsible recycling and environmental reporting. KOcycle’s process ensures full compliance with data protection laws while reducing e-waste through reuse and ethical disposal, according to Xeretec.

Xeretec’s Digital Workspace offering covers every stage of the contract lifecycle – from procurement, configuration, and deployment, to fleet management, monitoring, and eventual decommissioning, where KOcycle serves as its sustainability partner.
With shared values in compliance, security and innovation, Xeretec said KOcycle strengthens its mission to deliver intelligent and ethical end-to-end IT solutions. KOcycle’s commitment to certified data destruction, carbon tracking, and transparent reporting provides its customers with peace of mind – from initial purchase to final disposal, it added.
“The recent Gherkin event highlighted our growing collaboration with KOcycle and reinforced the importance of sustainable IT,” Tom Sherwin, Sales Technology Specialist at Xeretec stated.
“Xeretec’s Managed Workplace proposition helps customers gain clearer insights into their product estate performance and lifecycle, supporting more informed procurement decisions. Our partnership with KOcycle complements this by providing a reliable, environmentally responsible approach to retiring IT assets, helping organisations meet their corporate social responsibility goals.”
