More and more UK MSPs are joining a growing movement that aims to shift the focus of capitalism from shareholders to all stakeholders.
There are 9,700 B Corporations globally, including around 2,500 in the UK.
To pass muster, they must commit to positively impact all stakeholders, namely workers, communities, customers and the planet.
Although best associated with consumer goods brands, B Corp is beginning to take hold in the channel.
At least 10 UK MSPs on IT Channel Oxygen’s radar alone have converted to B Corp status since the start of 2024, with some of the market’s bigger names – including Kerv – publicly committed to achieving the certification.
This is an addition to the B Corp first-movers such as Natilik, Qodea, Optimising IT and QBS Software already profiled here.
Not without its critics, B Corp is just one of several routes open to companies looking to prove their worth when it comes to ethical practices and sustainability.
Billed by the non-profit behind it as a “rigorous, comprehensive and rewarding process”, the status is notoriously time-consuming to achieve.
So who are the UK’s MSP B Corps, how large are they, and what were their motivations?

11. Systems & Smiles
Specialism: Mac and PC solutions
This London-based specialist in “impact-driven IT solutions for small businesses” gained B Corp status in November 2024.
The Apple, Jamf, Malwarebytes, Okta, Google Cloud and Microsoft partner claims to dedicate 5% of its time to community projects by helping seniors gain basic computer and internet skills, and to encourage reuse and repair.
