ChannelCon EMEA will provide MSPs a “powerful perspective” on the evolution of the channel, the team behind the upcoming event have promised.

Formerly known as the CompTIA EMEA Member & Partner Conference, the event will take place in London on 13-14 October.

It is set to be attended by hundreds of IT service providers, vendors and distributors from across the EMEA region.

The event comes nine months after CompTIA rebranded as the Global Technology Industry Association (GTIA) following the close of its sale of the CompTIA brand and certification business to two private equity firms.

GTIA characterises itself as the “only vendor-neutral non-profit membership association for solution providers, ITSPs, vendors, distributors and IT channel companies”.

A ‘Channel Leaders Power Panel’ on the second day promises to “explore the forces reshaping the channel” and provide expertise and actionable advice for succeeding in today’s market.

Moderated by GTIA VP, Market Research & Intelligence, Carolyn April, it will feature a quartet of well-known faces in the form of Utilize’s Guy Hocking, Kaseya/Datto’s Greg Jones, Cynet Security’s Jason Magee and Pax8’s Phylip Morgan.

“Thriving in the IT channel requires a solid foundation of best practices, a forward-looking embrace of emerging technologies, and a relentless focus on delivering greater value to customers,” April told IT Channel Oxygen.

“At ChannelCon EMEA, attendees will gain powerful perspectives from a dynamic panel of IT channel leaders on how the market is evolving, the external forces reshaping our industry, and the strategies organisations can adopt now to ensure long-term growth.”
