"Our ambition is pretty clear", UK Head Leigh Schvartz says of new identity for Fujitsu's product business

Fsas Technologies wants to be “the number-one alternative” for partners in the data centre space, its UK Head, Leigh Schvartz, has revealed.

Fsas Technologies is the new identity of Fujitsu’s product business, with the brand going live in the UK on 1 February 2026 following a European roll out last year.

“Our ambition is pretty clear,” Leigh Schvartz told IT Channel Oxygen (see video, above).

“I would like to stake a claim that we could be the number-one alternative for partners looking for a solution focus and deep innovation in HPC [high-performance computing] and quantum technologies.”

 “Huge ambition in HPC”

Beyond its PRIMERGY server and ETERNUS storage offerings, Fsas Technologies harbours a “huge ambition” in the HPC space, Schvartz revealed.

As evidence, he flagged up its Private GPT AI solution, adding that Fsas Technologies is set to launch its Arm-based high-performance ‘MONAKA’ processor in 2027.

“We have a heritage building the world’s fastest supercomputers,” he stressed.

“I think there’s a bit of sentiment with the partners we work with that if we can deliver on that scale, we know how to make a server that lasts,” he said.

Fsas Technologies marks itself out from peers with its ability to “show up” with partners, as well as its predictability and ease of doing business, Schvartz said.

“Our focus is being present with the midsize and smaller partners, where they might align more to our solution and specialist focus areas. And we’ve heard from partners that that’s becoming rarer and rarer,” he said of the former.

Addressing the latter USP, Schvartz said Fsas Technologies is currently holding quotes for a one-month timeframe in light of the current memory chip shortage and also offer a free of charge Advice Line service for the lifetime of its products to support its partners in getting to grips with the Fsas Technologies’ portfolio.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of the Fujitsu Group, the Fsas Technologies brand went live in several European countries last year.

“Very recently, our Spanish Fsas Technologies business had a landmark win providing all the HPC infrastructure for the Barcelona supercomputer,” Schvartz said.

“They are the kind of projects we really have an ambition for and that we’re really well positioned to help partners with given the technology roadmap we have,” he concluded.
