Everything Tech Group has rejoined the M&A trail by snapping up £15m-revenue Dell and HPE partner Nexstor.

The acquisitive, Manchester-based MSP last February announced its eighth acquisition since its inception in 2021.

Now it has swooped on Nexstor, a 27-employee, Nottingham-based Dell, HPE, Veeam and VMware partner known for its prowess in designing, protecting and running business-critical data platforms.

The deal propels Everything Tech’s headcount to over 150.

It is also designed to add specialist depth in data infrastructure and hybrid cloud (currently, Everything Tech’s four specialist units cover Cloud & Remote Desktop services, Networks & Security, Voice & Contact Centre, and IT Support).

Everything Tech turned over £17m in calendar 2024, according to its latest accounts.

It was founded by former GCI CFO Mark Allen, who helped build the Microsoft partner to an enterprise value of £197m via a string of 27 acquisitions.

Everything Tech Chief Commercial Officer Danny Mills claimed the Nexstor acquisition boosts its ability to support critical IT environments at scale.

“As technology environments continue to evolve, our focus is on helping customers stay ahead. Bringing Nexstor into the Group expands our capability across data, storage and hybrid cloud, enabling us to support even the most demanding, business-critical environments end-to-end,” he said in a canned statement.

Nexstor co-founder Troy Platts labelled it “business as usual”, meanwhile.

“The same specialist team stays in place, with additional resources, solutions and backing available from the Group,” he stated.

“Everything Tech Group now provides them with broader specialist capability across data infrastructure, hybrid cloud, cyber security and modern workplace services, so customers can move faster, stay protected and operate with confidence.”
