Trustmarque Ultima is claiming a global Cisco first after bagging the vendor’s new Customer Success Expert badge.
In a Cisco-approved press release, the newly enlarged York-based VAR today announced it has become the first partner globally to complete its Cisco Customer Success Expert capability review.
As part of the new certification structure under Cisco’s new Partner Value Index (PVI), partners can now progress through three levels of customer success: Basic, Intermediate and Expert.
PVI is the main measurement framework of Cisco’s new 360 programme, which went live on 26 January.
“This represents a major milestone, demonstrating that our Customer Success Practice is at the core of our operations,” stated Natalie Goodwin, Customer Success Practice Director at Trustmarque Ultima.
“By combining skilled professionals with effective data analytics and platforms like Planhat, we ensure our clients realise measurable value at every stage, moving beyond simple deployment to achieving lasting business outcomes.”
The Cisco kid
Historically known for its strength with Microsoft, Trustmarque picked up a Cisco Gold partner business at the time it span out of Capita in 2022.
It merged with similar sized peer Ultima in October before rebranding as Trustmarque Ultima last month. Boasting combined pro-forma gross sales of £742m, it ranked 6th in Oxygen 250 2026),
Billed as Cisco’s biggest channel shake up in living memory, Cisco 360 has split opinion among partners – with some conceding it could cause short-term pain.
Trustmarque Ultima was among a gaggle of former Cisco Gold partners to publicise their achievements under Cisco’s 360 programme in January.
The third-party audit Trustmarque Ultima passed to achieve its Customer Success Expert badge verified its ability to help clients accelerate adoption, optimise performance and achieve their business objectives.
It held up a projects with Aston University and NHS Lanarkshire as evidence of the strength of its Customer Success Practice.
“This accolade reflects the dedication of our teams and the sophistication of our Customer Success Practice. It highlights our ability to put customer outcomes at the centre of everything we do, supported by a strategic collaboration with Cisco that spans over 30 years,” stated Trustmarque Ultima CEO Simon Williams.
