Academia claimed it is making good on plans to build a “larger, more diverse and increasingly service-led business” as it broke the £150m revenue barrier.
The London-based VAR and MSP – which ranked 32nd in Oxygen 250 2026 – says its revenues rose 10% to £152m in its year 30 June 2026.
Managed services revenues swelled 23% as Academia said it continues to move further beyond its roots as an Apple higher-education specialist.
Group MD Mark McCormack last September unveiled ambitions to increase services to 50% of its business, following its purchase of MSP Smartdesc the previous year.
McCormack dubbed FY26 “another strong year”, saying the company “continued to invest in the business we want Academia to become”.
“The 23% growth in managed services is in line with our plans and demonstrates the progress we are making in broadening our proposition,” he stated.
“Our ambition is to develop deeper and broader relationships with our customers, moving beyond individual technology transactions and supporting them across more of their technology requirements.”
Academia was last September named as one four reseller partners on Apple’s latest £200m higher-education framework.
It ended FY26 with 273 employees, up from 266 the previous year.
