Pax8 CEO John Street has hailed its opening of a Riga office as a “pivotal step forward” in its global expansion drive.
The fast-growing cloud marketplace has cut the ribbon on a “sprawling” office in a neoclassical building in the Latvian capital. This follows its acquisition of Latvian cloud services and software distributor TVG in January 2022.
Colorado-based Pax8 in August made a list of the fastest-growing US companies for a sixth time, based on three-year revenue growth of 571%. It recently broke the $1bn annual recurring revenue barrier.
TVG is one of four EMEA acquisitions Pax8 has made since 2021 alongside UK outfits Wirehive (2021) and Bam Boom Cloud (2023) and Dutch Resello (2021).
Pax8 CEO John Street hailed the opening of the 3,000 sq ft, 20-workstation office as a “major achievement for Pax8”.
“It underscores our commitment to Europe and represents a pivotal step forward in our global expansion strategy,” he stated.
“I am thrilled to inaugurate this new office, poised to become a central hub for our expanding community in the Baltics, as we persist in empowering our partners to accelerate growth, increase efficiency, and reduce risk.”
Pax8’s Chief Revenue Officer, EMEA, Phylip Morgan, recently told IT Channel Oxygen that the cloud marketplace is currently hiring for 50 more heads.
Globally, Pax8 claims to provide cloud solutions to 300,000 customers through a community of 30,000 partners.
