A voluntary redundancy programme underway at Insight’s UK arm and elsewhere will cause “no disruption” to its business, the NASDAQ-listed firm has claimed.
In a statement to IT Channel Oxygen, Insight confirmed it is “offering a one-time voluntary separation programme to eligible teammates in select non-billable back-office roles across the US, UK, and Canada”.
The scheme is part of Insight’s efforts to become “the leading Solutions Integrator for the age of AI”, it stated.
“We have designed the programme to ensure there is no interruption to our business, and we remain focused on serving our clients, investing in our future, and creating long-term opportunities for our teammates and clients as we execute our strategy,” it added.
The development comes after new CEO Jack Azagury last month unveiled its new ‘One Insight Plan’ organic growth initiative.
Under the plan, Azagury said Insight will be globalising corporate functions, streamlining support operations, reviewing direct and indirect spend and embedding AI more deeply into its day-to-day operations.
Insight’s main UK subsidiary, Insight Direct (UK) Ltd, saw calendar 2025 revenue fall 10% to £456.6m, although gross profits grew 16% amid efforts to focus on solutions, services and cloud. The Sheffield-based operation ranked ninth in Oxygen 250 2026.
Globally, Insight last month raised its outlook for growth for the year as net sales for its second quarter rose 15% year on year to $2.4bn.
Having made no acquisitions since last October, Insight will continue to pause M&A, Azagury confirmed last month.
“I have spent no brain cycles on M&A in my first four months,” he said at the time.
In today’s statement, an Insight spokesperson said:
Insight is executing a multi-year strategy to become the leading Solutions Integrator for the age of AI, combining our expertise in hardware, software, and services to help organisations get real value from AI. As part of this exciting transformation, we are optimising how we operate to ensure we have the right structure, capabilities, and resources to support our long-term growth and success.
As part of these efforts, we are offering a one-time voluntary separation programme to eligible teammates in select non-billable back-office roles across the US, UK, and Canada. The programme provides an opportunity for teammates who want to make a personal or professional change to receive an enhanced separation package, while enabling Insight to make future investments and continue building an agile, empowered, and growth-oriented organisation.
We have designed the programme to ensure there is no interruption to our business, and we remain focused on serving our clients, investing in our future, and creating long-term opportunities for our teammates and clients as we execute our strategy.
