Redsquid squirts ink on another biggish acquisition as it chases £250m
Share on LinkedinShare on Twitter

Redsquid has followed up its largest deal to date with another biggie, as it chases a fresh £250m revenue target.

Having gobbled 80-strong Partnership Education in April, the acquisitive MSP has snapped up another sizeable schools IT support specialist in the shape of 50-employee ARK ICT.

By headcount, they represent the largest and second largest deals in privately held Redsquid’s run of 17 acquisitions.

The addition of Lincolnshire-based ARK – which like Partnership Education focuses on the education sector – pushes Redsquid’s headcount to 270 and pro-forma revenues to £46m, the firm told us.

Borehamwood-based Redsquid in April declared a “clear ambition” to build a £250m “category leader” in the UK, as it appointed former Daisy exec Dave McGinn as its Chairman.

At the same time, it also promoted Camilla Karm to become MD.

One of over 30 UK MSPs to have converted to B Corp status, Redsquid has already made three acquisitions in 2026, having closed six purchases in 2025.

Spalding-based IT support specialist ARK claims to serve over 200 education customers and 100 local SMEs.

Counting Microsoft, Dynabook, Datto and Benq among its key vendors, ARK employed an average of 50 staff in its fiscal 2025, according to Companies House.

“This acquisition considerably strengthens our education proposition while broadening our reach within the SME market,” Sohin Raithatha, CEO and Co-founder of Redsquid, stated.
