Integrity360 has raised its South African headcount to 230 with its third acquisition there inside 16 months.
The acquisitive MSSP is the latest channel partner to bet big on the country as a nearshoring destination, following investments there by the likes of Computacenter, Content+Cloud (now Advania), Khipu Networks, Acora and Ultima.
It yesterday announced it has acquired 40-employee, Johannesburg-based cyber security services company Redshift.
This follows on from its acquisition of Cape Town-based Grove Group (50 employees) in August 2024 and Cape Town and Johannesburg-based Nclose (180 employees) in January 2025.
€160m MSSP giant
Backed by August Equity since 2021, Integrity360 pegged its group revenues and headcount at over €160m and 700, respectively, at the time of its previous acquisition – that of French MSSP Holiseum.
August Equity has a pedigree for MSSP buy and builds, having sold SecureData to Orange Cyberdefense in 2019 for a reported £120m – generating a 7.2x return.
Dublin-headquartered Integrity360 owes the bulk of its UK presence to its 2022 acquisition of Caretower.
At the time of the Holiseum deal, it said it would launch a seventh SOC in Paris to complement its existing SOCs in Dublin, Stockholm, Naples, Sofia, Madrid and Cape Town.
South Africa’s skills base, along with its time zone advantage, high English fluency and a well-educated workforce, have made it a popular nearshore destination for UK VARs and MSPs, not least Computacenter (which counts the country as a key pillar in its nearshoring strategy). Trustmarque is in the process of building a South Africa service desk, while Microsoft and Sage partner Xperience recently opened a South African support hub.
Integrity360 said Redshift will add around 50 customers, including “many leading South African finance, banking and telecommunications organisations”.
“The reputation and expertise they have developed since their formation in 2015 is highly impressive and we are looking forward to helping them provide an enhanced set of services to their customers and expanding further in the African market over the coming years,” stated Integrity360 Executive Chairman Ian Brown.
