Which serial acquirers and blockbuster deals stood out in what was another relatively quiet year for UK IT channel M&A?

Here IT Channel Oxygen digs into our archives to count down 2025’s most-acquisitive IT resellers, MSPs and consultancies on our radar.

There is a high level of subjectivity involved in how we compiled our top ten.

We considered both the number and magnitude of the deals. They are all either UK-headquartered channel partners, or (in one case) international players who have made UK acquisitions.

Even we would never have predicted the identity of the top-ranked outfit, which snuck through two late deals in December to take pole position.

As flagged up by analysts such as Megabuyte, the private-equity “MBO drought” continues in the IT MSP space amid continued depressed market conditions.

But not everyone has pulled in their horns, as this countdown proves.

It features a US-based outfit that recently acquired its 100th MSP and a Microsoft partner that is so secretive about the identity of its recent purchases it labelled them only ‘Acquisition A, B and C’.

Who made the cut? Read on to find out….
