The emotional rollercoaster that was The Channel Community’s (TCC’s) final event of 2025 is laid bare by these 25 images below.

The free mentoring network last night came together to dish out its year-end awards – and this time IT Channel Oxygen obtained some decent professional images from the evening…

But before that, attendees were put through the emotional wringer as they listened to three heartfelt stories from members of the community.

A slightly frazzled Dr Colin Williams – who arrived at the event fresh from handing out 3,000 Care Packs – talked about his mission to help disadvantaged families. The TCC’s event last night raised £530 for the Care Packs charity, which Williams co-founded.

TCC founder Yvonne Matzk unveiled the story behind her ‘Smashing the Class Ceiling’ book, which is now published in draft form, while Kevin Donaghy talked about how the community supported him during his darkest days fighting cancer. He has now published a book, ‘Stories of Cancer and Hope’.

The award winners were as follows:

– Channel Buddy – Bruce Hockin
– Channel Mentee – Zeta Stephenson
– Community Member – Ian Turnbull
– Community Supporter – Verkada
– IT Channel Oxygen Influencer – Elisha Kirkham

Here is a selection of images from the evening (click to enlarge)…
