Zscaler has become the latest in a growing line of security ISVs to publicly announce it has broken $1bn in sales via AWS Marketplace.

Following a similar announcement six days earlier from Wiz, the cloud security vendor last Thursday confirmed it has formally passed the 10-figure barrier.

The announcement comes after analyst Omdia last month updated its growth projections for hyperscaler marketplaces.

The analyst now expects hyperscaler marketplace spend to grow to $163bn by 2030, with the channel pocketing 59% of the total.

Zscaler ally CrowdStrike in February became the first ISV to publicly announce it had achieved $1bn in AWS Marketplace sales in a single year.

It claimed its AWS Marketplace sales grew 91% in calendar 2024, adding that its deals average 4x larger when transacted in AWS Marketplace.

Identity security vendor Okta also announced it had reached the hallowed turf in March.

Nasdaq-listed Zscaler saw total revenues swell 21% to $719.2m in its year to 31 July 2025, with ARR reaching $3bn in an “outstanding” Q4, CEO Jay Chaudhry said.

Zscaler achieved 68% year-on-year public sector growth through AWS Marketplace during the period, David Garcia, Principal Product Marketing Manager at Zscaler, said in a blog post.

“Our successful collaboration with AWS enables our customers to quickly purchase and deploy proven Zscaler zero trust solutions via AWS Marketplace, which helps organisations easily discover, test, buy, deploy, and manage thousands of software solutions, including ready to integrate AI agents and tools, all in one convenient destination,” he stated.
