5. Kerv swaps PE backers
Revenues of acquired company: £104m
Month: January
Rationale
Having only been formed during the pandemic, this acquisitive contact centre and cloud specialist smashed the £100m-revenue barrier in its year to 31 March 2024.
That growth was thanks to the backing of LDC.
But in January 2024, Kerv refuelled for the next stage of its growth by taking on Bridgepoint Development Capital as its new majority backer.
“Kerv is still less than four years old and so I’m really excited to see what’s possible with the support of both LDC and Bridgepoint in this next chapter,” Kerv CEO Alastair Mills said.
What happened next?
Kerv continued on the M&A trail, snapping up 75-employee Microsoft Dynamics specialist Inciper in October.
