“We’re open to partnerships in the right places”

Where does Bechtle stand on peer-to-peer partnerships?

We’re open to partnerships in the right places.

In the service arena, there are certain areas where it makes sense to use a partner where you don’t have a huge amount of runrate and can’t justify bringing that in house at the time. Then you can either look to build that capability to deliver it, or go out to market and bring that capability in via acquisition.

On the global side, we’ve built with the Global IT Alliance together with our global partners – that’s definitely an area where we’re always open to partnering. Then sometimes we get other resellers coming to us who want to partner on public sector frameworks we’re on.
