The line-up for IT Channel Oxygen’s Fast-Growth 50 2026 has been revealed.
Compiled in association with Giacom, it features a half-century of MSPs, MSSPs, resellers and consultancies adding headcount both aggressively and consistently.
They are drawn from within the broader community of UK MSPs, MSSPs, resellers and consultancies beyond the recently released Oxygen 250 2026.
This year’s crop includes a connectivity reseller surfing booming demand for Starlink satellite services, a B Corp which gives a portion of its profits to charity, and an MSP originally conceived by its two founders while they were still at college in Sussex.
They made the cut based on a 50-50 split between absolute and relative average monthly headcount growth over their last four sets of accounts.
Some have grown organically, and others via M&A (with two outfits in the report making five acquisitions last year alone).
Between them, these 50 firms added 1,560 staff across this period – up 139% on the base year.
The fact that our league table is based on headcount rather than revenues or profit has been given added resonance as AI promises to help MSPs and IT solutions providers do more with less.
Whether the firms in this report will look more to AI and less to new hires to drive future growth is a key question we explore in the report.
We caught up with leadership from 33 of the 50 firms, asking them about what’s underpinning their growth, the mega-trends shaping their fortunes and which competitors they most admire.
As Fast-Growth 50 demonstrates, despite the straitened backdrop, there has “never been a better time to set up or grow a channel business”, Giacom Chief Strategy Officer tells us (see here for more).
