Networking VAR Kubus has kickstarted its BGF-backed M&A plans by acquiring an audio-visual specialist.

The Cirencester-based Cisco and Juniper partner today announced it has snapped up TenTechnology, a Leatherhead-based AV solutions specialist with around 20 staff.

Kubus vowed to make “target acquisitions” when it received a £9m injection from BGF in October 2024.

In the intervening 18 months, it has unveiled a new CEO in the shape of former Computacenter and Citrix exec Jeremy Keefe.

Kubus will use the TenTechnology acquisition to create a “centre of AV technology excellence”.

It claimed the move will “significantly bolster” its technical prowess.

“The acquisitions of TenTechnology bring a wealth of specialised talent and deep vertical market knowledge that complements and expands our existing solutions engine,” Keefe stated.

Kubus is one of three outfits featured in Oxygen 250 2026 that is backed by BGF (or the ‘Business Growth Fund’, to give it its full name), alongside IT services outfit Roc Technologies and Microsoft partner Kocho.

Its revenues hit £14.9m in its shortened, six-month year ending 31 March 2025.

Other acquisitive VARs and MSPs BGF has exited include Olive Communications, Kick ICT, Inoapps, APSU and AdEPT Telecom.
