G-Cloud’s top-selling channel partners revealed

G-Cloud sales may have levelled off in recent years, but the cloudy public sector framework remains big business for VARs and MSPs following its “most significant upgrade”.

G-Cloud 15 went live earlier this month under the tutelage of the newly minted Government Commercial Agency (GCA).

Since G-Cloud first debuted in 2012, some £25bn of public sector spending has travelled through the framework, with central government departments responsible for the bulk (£18bn) of this splurge.

Although AWS has been by far the largest beneficiary (pocketing £2.2bn in sales), a range of channel partners including Softcat, Computacenter, SCC and Version1 have all sold more than £100m via G-Cloud.

Here we count down the ten VARs and MSPs that have brought home the most bacon on G-Cloud in calendar 2026, courtesy of Advice Cloud’s live G-Cloud spend data (see here).

Who was number one?….

10. Somerford Associates

G-Cloud sales in 2026: £3.81m (ranking: 90th)

Total G-Cloud sales: £48.96m (ranking: 82nd)

Counting the Joint Cyber Unit and the MoD as its two largest G-Cloud customers, this cloud, data and security VAR ranks inside the framework’s top 100 suppliers – both in 2026 and over its 14-year history.

The Cirencester-based Splunk, Okta, Varonis and Netskope partner ranked 157th in Oxygen 250 2026.

It has sold £3.81m of cloud software via G-Cloud so far this year, some £3.72m of which was to central government.

Fun fact

Somerford claims to have “one of the largest practices of Splunk consultants in EMEA”.

Nine more VAR/MSPs have sold more via G-Cloud in 2026. See next page for more…
