Former Sapphire Systems CEO Vince DeLuca has taken the top job at Six Degrees.

Having run Sapphire Systems for three-and-a-half years ahead of its sale to NTT Data in November, DeLuca has replaced Simon Crawley-Trice as CEO of cloud managed services outfit Six Degrees.

Charlesbank Capital Partners-backed Six Degrees ranked 62nd in the recent Oxygen 250, turning over £81m in its year to 31 March 2023.

“With our expertise in secure cloud technology and our fantastic connectivity roots, Six Degrees has every right to be the go-to digital transformation partner for UK businesses. I am excited to join the team and work to make that happen,” said DeLuca, who has also served spells at Logicalis, Infocrossing and Marconi.

In a LinkedIn post, Crawley-Trice – who had been CEO for three years – said he is “very much looking forward to” his next challenge. “But I will never forget what we have accomplished together,” he added.

“We thank Simon for his leadership over the past several years as Six Degrees set out on a path to become the UK’s leading secure integrated cloud services provider,” Michael Choe, Managing Director & CEO, Charlesbank added.

“We have known Vince for a long time and have been impressed with his leadership in delivering digital transformation solutions to enterprises across the globe. We are confident he will continue to drive the Six Degrees business forward.”
