xpandly is hosting an ‘MSP Marketing Q&A’ event on the final Wednesday of every month throughout 2024.
Crucially, the one-hour event is free and harbours “no agenda”, xpandly founder Jay Janes stressed.
“There’s no cost, no sales pitch and no vendor PowerPoint presentations or sponsorships etc,” he told IT Channel Oxygen.
“The event is ideal for MSPs who don’t necessarily have the budget to hire an agency, but still want to carry out marketing activity.”
Registration is open
Hosted on Teams, the first event will take place at 12pm on 31 January.
“Any MSP can attend the event and ask any questions they want answering, related to Marketing, and we’ll give them our advice and tips on whatever it is they are looking to achieve,” Janes explained.
“It could be something small like ‘where do I start’?, or ‘what CRM do I need to run effective marketing campaigns’? or more complex topics like content strategy, frequency and ad platforms.
Janes added: “MSPs can bring whatever pain points they have to the event. We will go into as much detail as necessary to ensure they get a full answer to their questions. It’s very much an interactive event.
“We’re going to give practical advice that MSPs can use, which doesn’t break the bank and is not overwhelming to the point where it just simply isn’t viable for them to do on top of everything else they have to do”.
Technology growth expert Janes, who launched xpandly in March after quitting £275,000 a year senior executive role, said that from his experience overseeing 6,000 MSPs, the number one topic for every MSP is marketing and how to get more leads.
“As far as I’m aware, nothing else like this exists. We want to create a space where MSPs can drop in on a regular basis and get professional advice from people who have been there and done at scale in the IT sector,” he concluded.
“Just like any marketing effort, this is not a ‘one-and-done’; we’re committing to a year-long series of events to make sure it offers maximum value for MSPs”
