Comms services powerhouse Gamma Communications has bolstered its cybersecurity prowess by acquiring Satisnet.
Luton-based IBM, Tenable and Microsoft partner Satisnet has 48 staff and turned over £11.6m in its most recently filed annual accounts (fiscal 2021).
Gamma billed its latest purchase as a “leading MSSP, cyber security consultancy, and value-added reseller with a proven pedigree in the industry”.
AIM-listed Gamma saw its revenues swell by 8% to £485m in 2022.
‘Increasing significance of cyber’
Although the supersonic cybersecurity growth seen in 2022 has moderated somewhat, cybersecurity spending continues to increase double digits.
“We are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to Satisnet as we join forces to address the pressing concerns of cyber security in today’s boardrooms,” Gamma Enterprise Managing Director David Macfarlane said in canned comment.
“Recognising the increasing significance of cyber security, we are excited to enhance our portfolio with the expertise and solutions on offer.
“This enables us to cater to the growing needs of our expanding enterprise and public sector community, providing them with comprehensive security solutions to safeguard their digital infrastructure.”
