Alter ego: Thibaut Courtois

What’s the heavily manufactured comparison? Last lines of defence

Tell us more…

Whether they’re keeping out shots or cyber baddies, Thibaut Courtois and CrowdStrike are cut from the same cloth.

Both are physically imposing, with the Belgian keeper’s 6’7” frame and CrowdStrike’s status as one of the world’s most valuable cyber firms spreading an equal degree of fear among their respective opponents.

The world’s best shot stopper’s long limbs have snuffed out as many attacking threats as CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform.

That’s not to say either is immune to the odd howler (take that faulty CrowdStrike update that knocked out 8.5 million Windows devices as an example).

But whether you’re a CIO or a football fan, this soccer-cyber pairing would have your back like no one else if your defensive line were to come under pressure.

Double-take rating: ***
