The term “hybrid workforce” is about to mean something different, a Pax8 exec has predicted as he offered a glimpse into the industry’s AI future.

During episode 2 of this special Oxygen Influencers podcast, Pax8 AI Platform Lead Andy Readman opened up on his role, who has influenced him the most in his career, and what he has planned for the rest of 2026 (view episode 1 here).

As an Oxygen Influencer, Readman is one of 50 women and men nominated by his peers for driving positive industry change from outside the boardroom.

He was joined on the couch by Richard Eglon, CMO at Oxygen Influencers sponsor Nebula Global Services.

“I believe the term hybrid workforce is about to mean something different,” Readman said (see episode highlights above, and full episode below).

“I think by the end of this year, hybrid workforce isn’t humans that work in the office or remotely… I think the future of hybrid workforce is humans and agents working side by side.

“So for me, the big focus is getting much more involved in building and showcasing what that future way of working looks like.”

Readman’s podcast comes after we caught up with two other Oxygen Influencers to talk about how the channel can better attract and retain fresh talent in the shape of Distology’s Daniel Evans and Telefonica Tech’s Tiffany Nelson ((see here, here and here).
