The Oxygen Awards launches today with 12 categories for outstanding companies and individuals.
IT Channel Oxygen launched in July 2023 with a mission of elevating the quality of news and information available to UK channel pros.
We’re already one of the top titles for UK IT channel channel, with nearly 9,000 registered members and 2,000 news stories and features under our belt.
Join us on our mission as we seek to wreak commensurate havoc in the realm of awards.
Shaking up the awards space
As you’d expect, we’ve designed the Oxygen Awards to be different from anything else out there.
Headline sponsored by Nebula Global Services, they launch with four Gold sponsors in the shape of QBS Software, KOcycle, AvePoint and Distology.
Our goal is to elevate the profile of the industry with a dozen more tangible categories for companies and individuals that spotlight the topics we all care about.
Company categories include those celebrating organisations leading the way on bringing fresh talent into the industry, organic growth, and on providing responsible and ethical AI.
For the individual categories, you can either enter yourself, or a colleague/peer. They include categories for the best over-60-year-old, mentor and graduate/apprentice.
The awards are completely free to enter and attend, with the victors invited to a relaxed ‘night of winners’ that will be completely on us.
A substantial portion of the proceeds will be handed directly to our volunteer-run charity partner, meanwhile (see here for more).

Editorial independence and integrity will be the hallmarks of the judging process – we will ensure none of our trusted judges come within a mile of categories in which they may have a vested interest. The judging panel will be expanded as the awards process builds.
You can find out more about the awards by perusing the dedicated Oxygen Awards website.
So, could you be a winner of the inaugural Oxygen Awards?
Just tell us in less than 800 words (or a video that’s shorter than 5 minutes) why your entry deserves to win, and you/your organisation or your colleague/peer could walk away with the win early next year.
Simples!
