Oxygen Awards: Q&A with Nebula Global Services’ Richard Eglon

The Oxygen Awards went live this week.

Here we catch up with Richard Eglon, CMO of Headline sponsor Nebula Global Services, to find out why they are backing the event.

Why is Nebula backing the Oxygen Awards?

IT Channel Oxygen continues to innovate, challenge convention and bring fresh ideas to the market. We believe at Nebula the Oxygen Awards represent a bold new concept in business and personal recognition, one that is relevant, inclusive and genuinely reflective of today’s dynamic and diverse IT channel landscape.

This is why Nebula Global Services is really proud to be the headline sponsor of the inaugural Oxygen Awards.

You’re category sponsor for the Best Company to Work for Award. Why does this topic resonate with you?

Nebula is really passionate about supporting initiatives that celebrate progress, creativity and impact, and we believe these awards will quickly become a benchmark for excellence across the industry. The reason we have aligned with the Best Company to Work for category is because we feel it champions the organisations and individuals who are shaping the future direction of the channel community.

What is Nebula’s USP?

For us, it’s simple. We accelerate time to value. Whether that’s growth, new services, new markets, vendor go to market or faster revenue, we help partners get there sooner. And we can’t do that without our people. So our people are a real USP for us. In a services business, every interaction defines our reputation, and that’s why our people are our brand – and all our delivery partners we work with are an extension and amplify that too.

What’s one thing Nebula has in store for the rest of 2026?

2026 for us is about continuing our global expansion to help both our UK and our international channel partners deliver that change in landscaping what the end clients are demanding from them. We’ve recently expanded our US operation. We’ve got some new people on the ground over there from both the sales and an operations and service delivery perspective, so that’s quite exciting. That aligns really well with a lot of the new partnerships we’ve formed with some really exciting emerging vendors. What we’re finding with those emerging vendors is they need a real global services capability to wrap around their go to market.

What’s the recipe for growth in the UK IT channel right now?

From a Nebula perspective, it’s about building trust and demonstrating integrity across that partner community you serve. And secondly, we think that recipe for success at the moment is about both automation and acceleration. It’s deploying that purpose-driven AI, where humans are setting the destination, but you’re using technology to get you there faster. So I think it’s an alignment between that human-led strategy around things like AI, but also using the technology to streamline processes and get you to that destination quicker.
