What’s your philosophy on peer-to-peer partnerships, and do you have these at Phoenix?

Absolutely – Purify Telephony is one. They’re an organisation fairly local to us and we’ve been working with them very closely.

For us it’s about where don’t we have the skill sets? Where do we think the market is? Is it new for us? When there are different skill sets we haven’t got, absolutely we’ll reach outside. We work well with partners.

Are there any dos and don’ts?

It’s being 100% transparent and open. We don’t white label, so we’re very clear with the customer and what we’re offering. And if there’s any compete in any way then we’re very clear about what that is. I never want to get to a position with whoever I’m dealing with that you start to reference a contract. For us a partnership is absolutely about that trust.
