Date it joined the $1bn AWS Marketplace club: Unknown

Total annual revenues: $9.2bn

According to Partner Insight CEO Roman Kirsanov, some 70% of Palo Alto’s AWS marketplace revenue flows through partners.

“Most ISVs treat channel partners an afterthought in their marketplace strategy. Palo Alto Networks flipped this – making partners the centrepiece of their billion-dollar success story,” Kirsanov wrote.
