When they say the customer is king, it’s not often meant literally.

The exclusive group of VARs and MSPs holding a Royal Warrant have welcomed in a new member in the form of Phoenix Software.

The York-based software licensing specialist – part of Bytes Technology Group – this morning announced it has achieved something of a crowning glory as it bagged a Royal Warrant for Supplier of IT Managed Services.

The accolade is handed to companies that have supplied goods or services to the Royal Household for at least five years, and gives them the right to display the Royal Arms (see below).

According to The Royal Warrant Holders Association’s directory, just 587 companies hold one, only 36 of which are business and technology suppliers.

This includes tech and telecoms giants such as BT, Civica and Samsung.

But which IT VARs and MSPs can accurately say their kit and services is fit for a king?

We reveal all over the next few pages…
