‘We’re doing 4 or 5 deals an hour’ – Samsung partner RVT on its lightning growth

RVT is gearing up to make some “big announcements” in 2026

A Samsung reseller founded on the eve of Covid is now doing “four or five deals an hour”, its Founder has revealed in an exclusive IT Channel Oxygen podcast.

Tom Owens set up Revitalise Technology (RVT) in September 2019 from his spare room.

Initially starting off life “buying and selling anything we could find”, RVT in 2023 recruited Ricky Cook to build an authorised B2B business.

“I’d always had this desire to go it alone,” Owens told host Sara Driscoll.

“We might have done four or five deals in a month, compared to now, where we’re doing four or five an hour on some good days.”

Cook characterised RVT’s recent awards success (it was named Reseller of the Year at the Stockies 2024 Awards) as “validation for us both”, hinting the business is gearing up to make some “big announcements” in 2026.

RVT marks itself out from bigger resellers partly through its focus on mobile phones and tablets, Cook said.

“I’d worked in the reseller industry for 30 years and had never sold a mobile phone,” he acknowledged.

“That’s been our go-to-market, and that’s really been one of our main USPs as to why we’ve been able to open so many doors.”
