‘We’ve been known to pass work to each other’ – meet the B Corp MSPs ganging together

A group of B Corp MSPs that have banded together to educate customers on sustainable technology is seeking more members.

The ‘B IT’ space is run by five managed IT services providers that have all demonstrated their ability to balance profit with purpose by converting to B Corporation status.

According to IT Channel Oxygen research, at least 34 UK MSPs and IT solutions providers have now secured the certification – with eight gaining their B Corp stripes in Q1 of 2026 alone.

Against this backdrop, B IT is looking to recruit more MSP members, Julie Bishop, CEO of founding member IT Naturally told IT Channel Oxygen.

“People think of us as quite a hard, profit-based industry, and it’s lovely to meet colleagues that have the same motivation we have,” she said.

“There’s enough work out there for everyone, and we’re not in competition with each other.”

Having already jointly run two webinars, the ‘B IT’ space is now planning for its first face-to-face event for late 2026/early 2027.

The idea for B IT came about when Bishop and IT Naturally Marketing Manager Emma Peries encountered other B Corp groups at a B Corp festival in September 2024. This includes the ‘B Beauty’ group, which has its own website and community.

“We both came away saying we need to start something with the other MSPs,” Peries said.

B IT is currently run by IT Naturally, ITGuys, Dial a Geek, Fluid IT and Optimising IT, with the quintet occasionally even passing work between themselves. Two more newly minted B Corp MSPs are in talks to join in the shape of Cloud9 Insight and MVW Technology.

“We’re a relatively large company who take on larger clients,” Bishop said.

“We’ve had worked passed to us when people have said, ‘this is beyond our scale’, and we’ve done the same for them when it’s only 50 users.

“It’s very much a sharing community, and it’s just nice sometimes to speak to other technologists who share your values.”

This spirit of collaboration extends to other professional services B Corps, Bishop emphasised.

“We’re just going to go into discussions with a legal firm that do DPO [data protection] work,” she said.

“They’re finding that if customers work with DPO, they want an MSSP, which is something we offer. Wouldn’t it be nice for another B Corp to be able to trust what you’re recommending?”
