Scott, you said you don’t like looking back. So can you give us a glimpse into the future for Pax8?

As a marketplace, we have a multi-year roadmap of features that really speak to the enablement of our partners in terms of success and scaling, and minimising or mitigating risk.

There’s a lot of innovation that we’re currently building into our platform – others have pipe, we have platform.

The world is changing quickly. We do believe that AI is going to have a massive impact on the SMB market, as well as on our partners. We’re in the early innings here in terms of the value it represents. But we believe there is a massive wave of disruption right in front of us, and it’s coming very quickly.

You’re going to hear a lot from Pax8 this year in terms of AI and agents and the Agentic future, and what that means for the channel in general. But I would say it’s more than that, in terms of how we’re going to continue to drive innovation that makes our partners more money, saves them money and reduces risk.

That’s a long-term road map. It’s a long-term opportunity. And we’re just getting started.

You made a flurry of acquisitions in the UK and Europe, a few years back. Are you still in M&A mode and are there areas of the world where you would want to beef up still through M&A?

Scott: We are. We’re certainly being very picky about where we go next, but we’re absolutely in expansion mode. We’re absolutely in this to build a large cap company at the end of the day. This is a marketplace and a platform that is not only disrupting today, but will be around to disrupt tomorrow as well, and we’ll do that globally. There’s still a lot of opportunity out there in terms of consolidating both geographically, but also in terms of technology that continue will continue to enhance our partner success.

Is there anything else you’d like to emphasise?

Nick: Just how critical our EMEA team is to our success. [EMEA CEO] Harald [Nuij] was the first to have an AI go to market as as part of his commerce function. Now that Harald has proven that the AI Masterclass works, it’s something we’re replicating around the world. It’s really impressive as we approach our our four-year anniversary of being in this market to see how much we have grown and how much influence this team has over the global team.
