From recruiting fresh industry talent, to industry progress on ESG and DEI, our guests left no stone unturned.
They all featured in Oxygen Influencers, which highlighted a quarter of a century of women and men driving positive industry change, but from outside the boardroom. It was compiled in association with Nebula Global Services.

1. Rebecca Monk – “Grow your own is the best way to solve the skills shortage, by a mile”
Episode 4 saw Softcat’s Rebecca Monk reveal the reseller’s secret sauce when it comes to attracting and retaining staff.
Softcat is now extending its famous ‘grow-your-own’ model into more niche technical areas, Monk revealed.
“You end up searching high and low for these skills that exist in only a few people… and then you think, ‘why don’t we just actually bring them in from scratch and train them up ourselves’?,” Monk said.
“For example, we’ve just started some more senior level apprenticeships and things like that, that will actually encourage different types of people into the company.”
