RVT on ‘door-opening’ Samsung Knox success

"They’re names we shouldn’t be working with"

Samsung’s Knox mobile security platform has been hailed as a “door opener” by one of its fastest-growing UK partners.

Founded in 2019, RVT nigh-on doubled its Samsung revenues to almost £9m in 2025.

It attributes this partly to its success with Knox, which Samsung styles as a “defence-grade” mobile security platform.

RVT has used Knox to open doors within large enterprise customers, including Securitas, RVT Senior Account Aman Taylor told host Sara Driscoll in episode 3 of this special podcast series (view episodes 1 and 2 here and here).

Securitas liked the “super granular” levels of control offered by Knox, Aman said, adding that the security services giant is now considering a European roll out of the technology.

“As a little reseller, they’re names we shouldn’t be working with… we’re a dot compared to some of these huge companies,” Taylor said.

“Having the back up of Samsung and [Samsung Account Director] Paul [Harris] and the technical team, and distributors, helps us do things some of the bigger resellers wouldn’t have the time or inclination to even look at.”

RVT Sales & Commercial Director Ricky Cook, added: “I genuinely believe for some customers it’s a bit of a breath of fresh air to talk about something that isn’t just hardware related.”
