Which vendor behaviour or trait do you love the most, and want to see more of?

We love it when vendors take time to understand how Simoda work under the bonnet, rather than just focusing on what leads or business we can bring them. HPE are a perfect example of this. The care and dedication to understand how we work from senior leaders and into the teams makes a real difference to focus and results.

What do they do that irritates or frustrates you?

We hate it when vendors accept deal reg applications from partners who don’t understand the customer’s exact requirements. This is something that we avoid. Yes, it has meant that we have missed out on business over the years, but I urge our team to only submit deal reg when we know the issues, challenges or objectives the customer wants to achieve. Ultimately, this leads to a better conversion ratio.
